Font - My current partner is awesome, so this isn't really about my relationship. If I was gonna trust anyone celebrating a bachelor party, it would be my boyfriend.

Font - But honestly the whole idea of bachelor parties disgusts me now after being a bartender for years at some of the top bars in the Midwest. I don't and never have worked at a sti ip club. These are high volume bars with bands, tourists, and guests of all age ranges.

Font - The worst though is bachelor parties. I'd say I see about 5- 10 bachelor parties a weekend. And they have completely ruined my perception of what a bachelor party is supposed to be.

Font - These guys start out as 10 guys that sit down at my bar, getting to know me, taking shots, sipping beers- the usual stuff. But by the end of the night, they are chasing girls, pretending they aren't

Font - married (or getting married), buying girls drinks, letting girls sit on their laps all night, gr ding with other women, going to the bathroom with other women, and honestly just seeing the bachelor party as their chance to be creeps all night.

  • 08
Font - I get so tired of people saying this yet they don't even stop to consider they do the EXACT same thing.... I know plenty of people that don't actually play the sports they watch yet they know every dam detail about it and can recite the highlights of every last game they saw the night before like it's

Font - UNPOPULAR OPINION r/unpopularopinion Posted by u/Perception-Material 7 days ago Pronouncing borrowed words and phrases with their native pronunciation isn't pretentious.
  • 11
Font - Especially for French phrases like raison d'être, ménage à trois, or femme fatale. It feels downright silly to pronounce them in an American accent—so much so that I'll often avoid them entirely when talking to anyone who's not a close acquaintance. I resent not being able to pronounce these phrases in their original pronunciation without a smirk or a raised eyebrow.

Font - UNPOPULAR r/unpopularopinion · Posted by u/thinkin-about-life 6 days ago Being an introvert is not the same as being socially inept
  • 13
Font - I constantly see people labelling someone who is unable to fit in social situations because they have social anxiety or just simple shyness as an "Introvert" but it is just so wrong. An introvert is someone who needs downtime to recharge their energy while social ineptitude is a lack of social

Font - skills or the ability to navigate social situations successfully. Introverts don't have to be socially inept, infact they can actually be very social. I believe it is important to recognise the difference between introversion and social ineptitude to avoid stigmatising or misunderstanding both introverted and socially ineptitude individuals.

Font - UNPOPULAR r/unpopularopinion · Posted by u/DebtFreeCollegeGrad 14 hours ago Schools should be more willing and able to expel problem students permanently.
  • 16
Font - I know this is an uncomfortable thing to think about, especially as theirs sometimes a lack of alternatives for those expelled students to get an education. But if their behavior is disruptive and dangerous to other students, you aren't helping them, your punishing others.

Font - UNPOPULAR OPINION r/unpopularopinion. Posted by u/flyingpickkles 3 days ago Everyone should sign a prenup
  • 18
Font - Prenup should not be something that has to be talked about before marriage. The only thing that needs to be discussed are the extents of the prenup and what the document will entail. I think everyone should sign prenup to protect any asset that was accumulated before the marriage either through hard work or

Font - inheritance. I think refusing to sign a prenup is a red flag. Just to be clear, I believe that any wealth created during the marriage by joint effort of both parties shall be divided upon divorce; just that anything that was brought into the marriage beforehand is off limits.
    via u/flyingpickkles
  • 20
Font - I don't understand why some people would not want to sign a prenup? Is it because you are in bad economics standing and is worried that you don't have any real capabilities to make any money and therefore refuse to sign?
    via u/flyingpickkles
  • 21
Font - To me, signing a prenup is saying that you are fully committed because you are not getting married for the money and only for that one person, and if you need economics help, you are so committed that you know you won't get a divorce and would render the prenup a moot point anyways.

Font - UNPOPULAR r/unpopularopinion Posted by u/Thequestionablemoon 3 days ago People who obsess over getting "the authentic experience" when traveling are more annoying than people who shamelessly embrace being tourists.
  • 23
Font - So many people nowadays, especially those who make traveling a big part of their identity, take great pride in not doing the typical touristy things and trying to have the "authentic" local experience. This is just a tourism marketed to people with superiority complexes. You're not from there. You're leaving

Font - in a week. Trying to fit in with the locals is just cosplaying. There's nothing wrong with that style of travel if you like it, but don't act like you're traveling the right way as opposed to everyone else.

Font - UNPOPULAR OPINION r/unpopularopinion u/LateActuator4615 · Posted by 5 days ago I don't see the point of buying a wedding dress instead of just renting it.
  • 26
Font - I don't see why I'm expected to buy a ridiculously expensive wedding dress when I'm only going to wear it once. I'd rather rent a wedding dress. Not only could it make a very logical "something borrowed", it could actually allow me to wear an expensive designer wedding dress fit for a princess, which I wouldn't be able to afford if I were to buy.

Font - UNPOPULAR OPINION r/unpopularopinion. Posted by u/daedricwakizashi 5 days ago Way too many adults are fashioning themselves as successful roast comedians in daily life
  • 28
Font - Well into my 30s, I can't believe how many adult contemporaries need to make themselves laugh every fifteen seconds with a quip at your expense to get through their day. You are not as good as the HBO specials you grew up on. Stop making your coping behaviors everyone else's problem.

Font - UNPOPULAR OPINION r/unpopularopinion Posted by u/snakes_are_superior 5 days ago Having birds as pets is unethical
  • 30
Font - Basically just what the title says. I just feel as though the people who leave birds in cages for hours at a time in their house are doing the birds a huge disfavor. Perhaps leaving them free to run/fly around the house is okay though dangerous for the bird, but I just feel as though that is not the case

Font - for most bird owners. Most bird owners that I've seen just leave their birds in a cage for hours at a time and it disgusts me. Perhaps I don't know enough about the birds, but I imagine their lives being immensely boring and taxing not being able to use their wings.

Font - Nosy neighbour making small talk? Just walk away. Someone monologuing and not letting you speak? Just walk away. Mother in law ranting about her favourite waffle brand changing their recipe? Oof walking away from that one.
